Topic: Organizations that learn

Objective: Analysis of strategies and disciplines for continuos improvement

Development

For this class, we saw four elements of Organizational learning, which are:

     1. Supportive leaders: Leader are committed to organizational learning;


  • Clear vision and goals for organizational learning
  • Champions and role models


     2. Culture of continuos improvements: Culture values organizational learning:


  • Aligned beliefs and values
  • Commitment to measurement of results


     3. Intuitive knowledge processes: Organizational learning processes are embedded             into daily workflows:


  • Defined processes to set learning agenda and capture, distill, apply, and share knowledge.
  • Technology platforms


     4. Defined learning structure: Organizational structure is aligned to support                             organizational learning:


  • Defined roles and responsabilities for capturing, distilling, applying, and sharing knowledge.
  • Networks and coordination.

And also we saw the disciplines that organiations can learn completely and simply and they are five:


  1. The personal domain
  2. Systematic learning
  3. The mental models
  4. The shared vision
  5. Team learning

RESULT

Apply the elements of Organizational learning and the disciplines that organiations in favor of decision making.
